Emily Chambon

VP of HUman Resources

Emily has 10+ years’ experience in Human Resources with a demonstrated background in HR policies, organizational development, recruiting, policy development and employee coaching. She is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management. Emily received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Louisiana State University.

  • Recommended and implemented standardized policies and procedures for recruiting, onboarding and training
  • Provided advice and assistance regarding consistent and fair interaction with employees including:
    • Consistently interpreted and applied human resource policies and procedures
    • Provided guidance in the resolution of employee issues
    • Reviewed all disciplinary actions and proposed terminations with the appropriate management level

  • Improved and maintained company benefits program

NeiL ANderson

Vice pResident of OPerationS

Neil oversees Universal’s self-park operations in Florida and has expertise in automation and technology related to the parking industry. 

Mr. Anderson is an active member and has held leadership roles for many civic and transportation organizations including the National Parking Association and Urban Land Institute. The National Parking Association named him a member of their inaugural “Top 40 Under 40” class.

  • Vice President, General Manager and Co-founder of GOPARK
    • $11 million in annual revenue (8,000+ spaces)
    • Responsible for sales, marketing and operations initiatives

Derek Kline

Derek Kline is experienced in leading large teams in fast-paced environments requiring strong organizational and interpersonal skills. 

Regardless of the operation’s scale, Derek works diligently to ensure outstanding service to clients and customers while also and motivating employees to maximize the financial success of each location.  Mr. Kline’s extensive parking and hospitality experience includes:

JOnathan Murray

Jonathan has 16 Years in the hospitality & parking industry and has successfully developed & executed valet programs for high volume, prestigious events for partners including Mercedes Benz Superdome, New Orleans Film Festival, GQ, Samsung, Van Wyck, New Orleans Pelicans, Republican Governor’s Association, Tulane University, Loyola University, LSU, New Orleans Museum of Art, Mardi Gras World and Ochsner Health.

  • Co-Founded Elite Parking Services in 2009
  • Led the executed merger of Elite Parking & Royal Parking in 2014
  • Member of the Greater New Orleans Hotel & Lodging Association
  • Board Member of the GNOHLA’s Membership Committee

Steve Newbern

Vice pResident of Strategy

A native Atlantan, Steve has 30+ years’ experience in the key functional areas of real estate including development, asset & portfolio management, acquisition/ disposition, finance and operations.

  • Former Vice President of Investments at Post Properties, a leading multifamily REIT purchased by MAA
    • Reported directly to Post’s Chief Investment Officer, responsible for all new development, renovation of legacy assets and acquisition/disposition
    • Additional dotted line responsibilities to Chief Executive Officer, four SVP’s of Development, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Accounting Officer
  • Former Senior Vice President of CBRE’s Southeast Multifamily Investment Sales
    • Atlanta-based team with $25 – $30 million in annual commission revenue
    • Consulted with institutional clients regarding asset management and positioning in advance of a sale process
  • Former Vice President of a regional development company with a class A portfolio of mixed-use, office, retail and multifamily assets
